~Scraps of Darkness~ Destiny

Here's another layout using the Envy Kit for August. I chose to do my dear friends Lidia and Alex. I met them while attending OBU. They were from Brazil. Lovely lively couple and we had some fun times.  I remember my ski trip with Lidia and her brother to the real Rocky Mtns! WinterPark CO! I never laughed so hard in my life. This couple immigrated to Canada and have two lovely children. They are still married to this day.  I'm so glad to call them friends. Here's my tribute to them. I have some close ups and will have to retake the pic in the morning sun vs this afternoon sun. I'll put it so you'll have a general idea.

I used a certain.. pgm for the letters. and then used some white gel and viva decor

Should be better lighting the sun was going down.

I've been using my friend, Margaret's , Cricut Paperlace cartridge.. and it's the magnificent frame around the photo.. and then I saw the flowers on there so I cut that. Then  I wanted more punch work so I got out those 2 sets. I used my Viva Decor Ice White to make the pearls. I did stencil distress the bottom blue piece.

Over at Scraps of Darkness the new kit  is called Envy.  Here are the closeups.

The Mistables was fun to play with I used two TH inks on it.. blue and brown came out nice.

 I found a way to keep the pen secure! 

I used a TH holtz tag and then used some Viva Decor Pearl Pen on the hole. 

Loved the Robin's Nest Rubons and the new Mists.

Bringing some pink to my boy page hee hee

Time for school..7th grade.... linear lines  I enjoyed playing with the parts; the ribbon did get used if you can see it. I loved the Robin's nest's rubons. The bling is so pretty.

I used Tim Holtz paper on the cut from Cricut Cart: PaperLace. Petaloo, KaiserCraft, Lindy Stamp Gang and that homemade pin. I used some Martha Stewart punches as well.
