Bo Bunny and more from the Scraps of Darkness Store

Hello my friends!

I'm so happy to show you what I've created with some goodies from the Scraps of Darkness store. I love BoBunny and Kaisercraft products.
I also got to play with a new stencil. Who doesn't love stencils!!!

Here are some closeups of what I made. Of course the subject is my cutie pie niece Kinslee. I love what her folks did with her hair!!

Here you can see I fussy cut a rose and put it in this cool pocket watch. Here is the link:

and I used Judikins - Diamond Glaze Dimensional Adhesive
to adhere the paper inside and the watch to the paper.

Round Robin Time over at Scraps of Darkness!

This time I'm playing  over at Scraps of Darkness. I followed the fabulous Sarah! Her layout is here.

Here are some closeups. In this photo I was trying to get close to show you the pink netting underneath the layers. I had some wonderful Prima Metal Vintage Trinkets.. from the Sunrise To Sunset Collection.

Now the picture was an accident.. I accidentally loaded the paper wrong... that's what I get for being in a hurry! However I thought the pic came out kind of cool so I went with it and cut into .. a loose 3rds.
I hadn't used my Cricut in a while so it was nice to just pop in the cart and cut!

Army of One at Scraps of Darkness

This just in... I got featured with this Layout at About A Boy! How Awesome. Thank you.!

The June Kit over at Scraps of Darkness is called Firecracker. I just love that title for some reason.

This layout I made is designed following their sketch and for their Round Robin. I LOVE these Bo Bunny Papers... this collection titled Anthem!  Here is the sketch designed by the fabulous Sue Pup.
I chose to use this super cute preschool picture of my son. I saved my leather Prima leather flowers because it tied in the leather jacket he's wearing.  I did find when I was using this one mask with some Lumiere paint it dried rather quickly so that it tore the paper...so I covered it up. Then I tried the Shimmerz Textuurez "Gritty Graphite and Brick Wall". It lasted longer and was more wet. I know to be more careful when using my Lumiere.

It's Round Robin time over at Scraps of Darkness. I had the pleasure of following the wonderfully talented Jenny and Cathi O! Their work can be seen here.

This is a picture I took a few years back of my boy before church. These were really sweet. I used some of my 13 Arts papers and stickers and some products from the Scraps of Elegance Lovesong kit.

Now of course I tried to emboss my 3rd Eye Santa.. but .. it didn't pop like I wanted... He's hidden on the page. lol well I actually tried twice and found out .. it was glitter not embossing powder.. hey I didn't know it was some old bottle in a zip lock bag with no labels or words. hahahahha always experimenting..

THE WWE CAME TO TOWN. That's right I got front row seats and got to see the Hardy boy... The R super star... Umaga... and more! Too bad Cena wasn't there.. .but we sure got an eyeful. That was a fun night shared with my brother Jon.
I loved using my Kaisercraft papers and Graphic 45 and the BoBunny line is fantastic.
I used a couple of Martha's punches .. the newest on is called Sunburst.

Just loving this June Kit.
Sadly  Ellen died this last Tuesday. She was 60 years old and had been at the Little Rock Zoo since 1954. Little did we know she would die so soon after our visit.
Thank you Margaret my Close To My Heart Consultant. I was able to use a little Journaling piece.  The official title is Journaling Spots - Journey.
I was also able to use my new VIVA DECOR PEARL PENS! Love those things. However  I did have an accident. I was trying to squeeze out the blue... and it blew the top off and blue pearl goop flew everywhere sooo.. if you happen to notice some blue spots.. yep its from the explosion.. and it did get on my shorts and ruined them. I put some oxy clean spot remover on my shorts and immediately washed them however they are forever stained. Oh well. LOL. Here are some close ups... so you can see those pearl pens. :-) Ok I did use some Tim Holtz Liquid pearls however Michaels only carries the one set. I played with some tissue tape as well.

I used magenta Viva Decor  Pearl Pen around the punch work design.

I've enjoyed the BoBunny Zoology line, and the Prima flowers and vintage trinkets. The elephant sits on the negative of the frame I used in the last LO which I cute from Cricut Potpourri Basket.

~Scraps of Darkness~ Another layout from the June Kit

Welcome to the Jungle is the name of the kit. I am sooooooooo loving it! I got some great photos at the zoo that day with my sister Kristina and my nephew -Kai and my son David.  The title of this layout is The Zoo Crew. Here's a few corners to wet your appetite :

I was really wanting a frame and since I can't buy them right now I put on my thinking cap and started going thru my gazillion cricut carts. I found the perfect one right on Potpurri Basket! I love love love this frame. I was praying that the paper would stay stuck during all the cuts and it did! Yipee Now it is a very pretty light brownish color and I inked it up with T H Distress Ink Antique Linen.

 I was bound and determind to use those Irock blings! I took a battery out of one of my remotes cuz the heating tool needed 3 ..NOT TWO BUT THREE! I go thru the AA batteries in this house!
Ok here's the finished product .. I tried to remove the .. color cast but heck if I know what I"m doing just trying to get the best photo out there!

Thank you Margaret Hoffman for the cool bling.. She is my Close to My Heart consultant! I love the square bling. I used the Bo Bunny Zoology papers .. and the combo stickers. I used Tim Holtz Paper Stash Seasonal for the awesome frame.  I used the Crystal Stickles on the teeny tiny butterflies.  I used the Sizzix  folder Diamonds in Diamonds for the green piece in the middle. I used Crackle Paint  - Clear Rock Candy on the middle green piece. I even used some Mustard Seed - Distress Ink on the middle green.
I used the Irock  bling  - copper , silver and bronze. I used TH Tissue Tape - Nostalgic. I tried out the Prima Flowers - Button Blossom Steel. Bo Bunny Trinkets is feature in the bottom right. I used TH Dusty Concord Ink on the corners of the green paper on those stars. I used MS corner punch stars on the green paper. The Tulip Glam it Up Heat Setting Tool worked great. The Glue Glider pro worked great.
