~Scraps of Darkness~ Diva

Thanks to Bexta76.. I loved what she did on her layout Hanging with Coop.
Mine didn't exactly turn out like I wanted but it's close enough. Kinslee and her diva self... cool photo and perfect for the WINTER'S EVE KIT  from SCRAPS OF DARKNESS.
I forgot about my Copic markers and ended up coloring with my Bic Markit's lol .. Desert Rose.. lovely marker. I also used a ton of glue does for that ribbon around trying to make a circle.. and there is a second ribbon its black and white on the purple circle that the picture is attached too.. enjoy.

I loved the viny stick thingys and put a purple flower on top

used the font off of PAPER LACE 2 cart and a neat scroll die cut

purple gems and white pearls

I enjoyed the white pearls that I put on the corners and I tried to use some gelly rolls to accent the letters and the scroll bar under the letters. Loved these Tim Holtz SEEDLESS PRESERVES.

Happy Scrappn

~Scraps of Darkness~ Enchanted

I rather enjoy following the sketch provided each month in the kits.
This is my favorite picture of my son. I have it framed, thanks to Robin Armitage and I have one on my fridge. I do plan to have it buried with me and if I was ever inclined I would tattoo it on my chest over my heart this image.

Enjoy my lovely son.. his gaze enchants me.

used PAPER LACE 2 for the giant gear cog

Beautiful stick pin created by Mandy!

~Scraps of Darkness~ Majesty

This month's kit just rocked my world.
The design team has done amazing work with this kit!
I loved Drycha's double picture idea and her picture was dark, moody, evocative..just wow.
I had to try it. I knew I wanted to try it on my oil painting. I grew up loving Bob Ross and had always wanted to try an oil.
So here's my take on her LO.

MAJESTY
Now at one point we were able to get ahold of some VINTAJ metal.. wow.. that was so easy to use in my Cuttlebug.. once I got started I couldn't stop. I ran them all thru the machine alternating between the two dies. I will put up a close up now of the metal and there is some silver metal wire but it's so thin you can't really see it. I did ink it black and try to use some whites and silvers to show the details.

really cool VINTAJ METAL CHARM
Martha Stewart Halloween Key loved it!

loved the Bo Bunny's embellies! see the sequin sash

Hooray I used black diamonds on my DUSTY ATTIC!
AND if you've made it this far.. here is the original oil hanging on the wall. Let me tell you that was a big mess.. and I ruined the carpet and some clothes. I wasn't prepared... ha ha but it's ok.

Thank you to Scraps of Darkness for awesome inspiration!
