Hello friends!

Of course one of the big subjects in my life is our dog, George. The flair to the left is from 3rd Eye as well as all the stamped images on the background.  The chipboard stars and feather are from 3rd Eye as well.

Here are some close ups:

3rd eye ATC VALENTINE

Hello Crafters, Monica checking in here today!
I prepared an ATC for Valentines Day.  Do you have something prepared?
The chipboard and stamps are all from the 3rd Eye store. Fun and creative embellishments to found here!

In this close up you can see the Anatomical heart chipboard. I inked the heart in black and then heat embossed a bit of red on top of it. In the background one can see the flower background stamp that I used to add interest.

Here you can see the wonderful butterfly chipboard. I painted them in a hot pink and then stamped one of them in the floral stamp. The other chipboard I painted and then set some seed beads on top with my glue.

In the above you can see a little bit of texture and having fun with embossing and splatters.

In this last pic you can see the ATC wrapped up with all those stamps from 3rd Eye!

I thought this might be a different type of ATC. The stamps and chippies are so much fun to play with.
Have a wonderful Valentine's day! Happy Scrappn! Remember visit the 3rd Eye store for wonderful crafting supplies and the 3rd Eye Blog for fabulous inspiration. I will be using this for a ATC swap at Scraps of Darkness. :) Monica

Stuck On U Sketches -Die Cut Snowman Challenge

Hello Crafters,

Is it still winter where you are?? It sure is here in Arkansas! So this week's challenge over at
Stuck On U Sketches  is to use a Snowman on your project.
I really love Tim Holtz's Sizzix Snowman.

Here's a cute little card I made featuring my snowman, Snowy. :)

Isn't he just a cutie pie!?
I used my Paper Temptress Papers... Blueberry Kraft Paper and the Lustre lines of paper.

The chipboard you see is from 3rd Eye... Make sure to check out the 3rd Eye store to get your snowflakes. I first put some modeling paste on some of the snowflakes and then I used Tim Holtz Metallic Distress Stain. I like how it turned out.

Now of course my frosty flowers come from Renea's Bouquets Etsy store.. Which you must absolutely check out a perfect compliment to any project.

In the above you can see one of my favorite snowflake chippies from 3rd Eye. I edged the card in Distress Ink - Broken China and then applied modeling paste to sprinkle a bit of frostiness. :)

I hope you're are withstanding the cold and making some lovely memories as the new year starts.
Go check out the design team's inspiration over at Stuck On U Sketches and definitely join us in our challenge. Snowmen are so cute!

Masked for 3rd Eye DT

Good morning my fellow crafters!!
I am bringing you a canvas. I loved the mood captured in this photo. There are hints of blues and purples..and one white feather and one black.. a fun balance to play with. I thought this was a fantastic photo of Jamie Gaston. She's a long time family friend. Devin Castle Designs captured this awesome moment.
This fantastic dreamcatcher can be found in the 3RD EYE STORE.

In this close up you can see the top of the Dream Catcher chipboard from 3rd Eye. I edged the canvas in Inka Gold Metallic Rub in Steel Blue. I added some glass beads on top of some cardboard. Along the edge of the canvas I used some washi tape.  In this corner you can a Prima Vintage Trinket. Check out the 3RD EYE STORE to see all the pretty chipboard.

Here you can see I painted the dream catcher in black gesso first  and then highlighted it with some steel blue metallic rub. Also I have a black feather peeking out from beneath the picture.

I lined the bottom of this canvas in black lace. You can see more cardboard, beads, feather and trinkets. I did also use a Violet metallic rub.

In this photo you can see the beautiful moth badge beside a Prima trinket and flower. I edged the badge with some black gesso.
There are so many beautiful flair buttons in the 3RD EYE STORE go check it out!!

In this photo you can see the chipboard stamp and some Prima crystals with some gears. I used a bit gelatos  and metallic rubs around the stamped image. Along the canvas there are bits of torn paper from my 7Dots Studio stash.

Thank you for stopping by. Hope you have a wonderful crafty day.
Happy Scrappn!

Christmas Door Hanger 1st Project for 3rd DT

My first DT post for 3rd Eye. How exciting!!!
Are you looking for a little something different for your Christmas decorations? I had bought a door hanger a while back and when I saw my new stamps and chipboard I knew they would be a perfect match! I love snowflakes of all varieties. 3rd Eye products to the rescue!!! Check out the 3RD EYE STORE for so many wonderful chippes and more!

I painted the wooden hanger with the metallic rub and then  I stamped some snowflakes on some pretty silver paper. I also had to include Renea Bouquets Butterfly which is just splendid. Check our her Etsy shop.

From this close up you can see this beautiful snowflake chipboard. I put Inka Gold Metallic rub- Silver and then topped it off with a little bling. You can also see one of the flair buttons there right above.  You can find these snowflakes in the 3RD EYE STORE.

This snowflake I heat set some Shimmerz Enamelz on my pretty little snowflake. You can see some of the stamping underneath.

Here you can see the stamps a little better. I also included the stars and inked them in various colors and used some stickles. You can also see another beautiful flair button. Hurry on over to the 3RD EYE STORE and check out these snowflakes.

I am not able to hang a wreath on my front door but this little guy fits perfectly. I'm so happy to have something so festive and pretty to hang on my front door! Now what could you make with these snowflake stamps, chipboard and badges?

Thank you for stopping by. Hope you found some inspiration. Check out the 3rd Eye store today.
