Round Robin -- CHERRY

Yes it's Round Robin time over at Scraps of Darkness!!

I'm not used to going second.. Ms Jenny did a fabulous job.!

I got to use my new 3RD EYE STAMPS!!!!!!!.. however you can't seem them because for some reason I used light ink.. Here is a close up though... look at my stars!

Now of course I enjoyed painting my Dusty Attic piece (DA0629) .. Corner Flourish 2!

I got to break out my Cricut machine and use my PAGODA cartridge.. that went well.

yes the picture is sideways.. LOL

The metal leaves in the top left... are from Michelle.. from the land down under...

I also tried my new EK LAYERING PUNCH.. the butterfly and that was nice and easy.

oh in this one you can see I used PUFFFFFFFFFFFFFIES... THAT WAS fun... I thought I might burn up my layout.. I was scared! and I used TIM HOLTZ ENAMEL ACCENTS.. on the edges of the giant red flowers...

Here's the final product... I give credit to FACEBOOK for the photo because thats where I found it... in the feed...

Got to use my new LUCKY 8 PUNCH for the inner layer.

WINNER Round Robin over at Scraps of Darkness- INK!

I came across this article on Yahoo. They were talking about W magazine doing a feature on Tom Cruise promoting his new movie.. Rock of Ages. They had a few photos from the photo shoot he did for them. One really caught my eye. Then suddenly it was  ROUND ROBIN TIME over at Scraps of Darkness.
Ya know what... then  I saw what Mel did to start off the round and I immediately knew what to do with Tom's Picture!
This one took a few hours to put together .. but well worth it.. and guess what.. IT WON!!!!!!!!! Thank you all!!!!

That's right I titled it INK!

So there ya have it.
I used the super awesome kit from April... and I used my Elegant Edges Cartridge and was inspired by my dark sisters!

~Scraps of Darkness~ Too Cute Challenge

Hey everyone -- Meet Lucky. She was born in my kitchen March 8th! I tried the tissue paper technique that my dark sister taught us.
Here comes the corners:

Dusty Attic 0543 Heat embossed silverish

yes that is flocking sticking to the paper somehow!

I tried to use every color I owned! I loved it!

I used my SOD kit only the letters and the paws were from outside. I realized how much I missed heat embossing with when I did the DA pieces. I really need to do it more often! I also got out my cropadile and got to punch. I USED MY LUCKY 8 PUNCH ! and my MS punch. I also used Kaisercraft -Madame Boutique line from my SOD line.
Also gotta give credit to Lindy Stamp Gang, Shimmerz and Maya Mists! Those were what I used on the tissue paper!

~Scraps of Darkness~ Grandparents

I'm getting in at the last minute doing the Feb Sketch of the month provided by Suepup. I happened to come across a rare set of photos of my grandparents. My grandpa died when my mom was a teen. I used to play with my grandma and she would let me stand on a table. I need to make copies of those. Ernestine Cora Martin and Johnny Baumgardner Watson.  I loved using the handmade products from CraftySprinkles and Renea from My Glitter Coated Life.
Of course I got to use my new Lucky 8 Punch from We R Memory Keepers the doily one. I also snuck in some Dusty Attic : DA0543, DA0002, DA0466.
I had lots of fun playing with the Shimmers Paint and the Lindy stamp paints.. really cool. I also put pearls everywhere! LOL
