Stuck on U Sketches -Die Cut Team - SNOWFLAKE challenge. A Canvas

Hello and hope this finds you having a super crafty day! Below you will find my CANVAS.

Over at Stuck On U Sketches (SOUS) the challenge this time is to incorporate a SNOWFLAKE into your work.

I thought instead of a card I would use snowflakes on a canvas. I found this really cool stencil from StencilGirl. I also found my super cool snowflakes stamps and badges from 3rd Eye. I used my Cameo to cut out my Snowflake. There were so many options to choose from, it was hard to stop at one. I should have chosen a bigger canvas to go snowflake crazy on!!

Paper Temptress - Snowflake

Hello Crafters

Today's my day up on the Paper Temptress Blog.
The piece I'm showing today is the first half. The rest of the project can be seen when it goes live on my blog on Friday.
The focus on this piece is Snowflake.
I am using the Laser Lustre package to make these pieces. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the scalloped circles and cut the letters with this pretty font that had snowflakes embedded into the letters.

In the close up you can see the two different Lustre papers I used.

In these next 2 close ups you can see my 3rd Eye Snowflake Badge and stamp and my Viva Decor Metallic Rubs on my StencilGirl Snow Storm stencil.

ROCK STEADY... RR entry for SOD

I had forgotten that I had signed up for the RR over at Scraps of Darkness back in October for the November round. Luckily everyone needed an extension so I was able to contribute my entry. Hooray!! I used my JULY kit of the month Gypsy Summer. Papers used were Graphic 45- Bohemian Bazaar and My Mind's Eye - Collectable Collection.

In this photo I used my heat embossing powder from Close To My Heart : Sunny Yellow and my 3rd Eye Stamp - Rose.

In the above photo ... I used my EXCLUSIVE StencilGirl  Stencil... and my awesome LAVA RED  InkaGold Metallic Rub! It worked beautifully with this stencil.

 

Using another EXCLUSIVE StencilGirl Stencil from the month of October;this time using Lime Green InkaGold Metallic Rub.  

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut my Graphic 45 paper to make this butterfly and the round circle image behind the photo and topped off the butterfly with Stickles. I also used Heidi Swapp Color Shine : Black Velvet on this cardboard as well as several Gelatos.

I just got these letters from my friend Margaret!! Thank you! I've loved my Tim Holtz Industrial Stickers.

Paper Temptress ~ FAMILY~ a card...

Hello Crafters!

Hope this finds you doing well.

I was inspired by Contadina K's card. I wanted to make a simple but meaningful card. Thank you CONTADINA for the inspiration!!!

I used the Cryogen White as a base for this A2 card. I inked the bottom piece with Antique Linen Distress Ink. Then I chose from my Brown Bag Kraft Package #2. I used the Brown Bag paper for the inset.  I stamped some leaves(3rd Eye) on the background and then embossed the image using my Anna Griffin "Aviary" folder. I stamped the leaves onto Heavenly White 80#.

I used several Distress Inks to color the leaves. 

Hopefully as we enter into the Thanksgiving season we can all find things to be grateful for.

Paper Temptress for my ATC

Hello Crafters!!

It's my day here at The Paper Temptress.

I wanted to make an ATC for the swap I'm involved in. Well my ATC needed the fabulous papers that are available at The Paper Temptress.

I had to use some more of my Silver Lustre Paper for the Skull. I also used Neenah Solar White 80#.

My absolute FAVORITE paperline, the entire Lustre paperline is on sale for 25% off! This cardstock has a beautiful pearl finish and can be EASILY color coordinated with any of your projects using inks especially distress inks but still maintains the beautiful pearl finish! The six beautiful finishes that are available in the Lustre paperlines compliments any design too.

August Scrap That! Project #2 -- Dreams

Here is my second project that I was able to make with my August Scrap That! Kit.
It was full of Maja Design Vintage Spring Basic.
My coworker is gracious enough to let me use some of her engagement and wedding photos.
They go so well with the romantic vintage feel of the Maja Design Papers.

August Scrap That Project #1 Peace

Here is 1 of 3 projects made with the August kit from Scrap That! 

I got to use the Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics paper. I loved working with them.

I had to add those pearls.. Want 2 Scrap Bling Pearls.. and my 3rd Eye Stamp taking care of the corner:

Altered butterfly that came in the kit.

This is using my Cereal Box Tut. I painted them with Gesso first then embossed them and then kissed them with some ink.  Had to top them off with more pearls.

Some wonderful Dusty Attic Chippie ... gessoed and then stamped with 3rd Eye Stamp.  You can see another 3rd Eye stamp right there in the corner.

Here you can see a bit of masking and modeling paste. I outlined the letters with a marker. 

A little peek a boo lace is shown.

Love my Prima Masks and paste.. with those cool Luxe Circles! Peek a boo clock with pearls.

Hi, My name is Lisa and by profession I am a registered nurse. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have 2 children who are now successful young adults.  I have been a crafter my whole life. Back in 2005, when my son was doing his senior project with his girlfriend (who is now his wife) They were creating a scrapbook of their lives. They elicited my help as I was the crafty one. I found Scrapbook.com and saw the kind of scrap booking the artists did. I was amazed at the styles. It just wasn't cut and paste and stickers. It was 3 dimensional, it was gorgeous, and oh so inspiring. So I created a gallery, created my first layout and the rest is history. My style has changed a bit throughout the years, but playing with and scissors is still so therapeutic for me. I am honored and excited to be Guest Designing for Scrap That for the month of August.
