Card for a friend

I made this card for a friend.
I had less than 5 minutes so..
Hey do you recognize Emma's DIGI-sentiment. Yep.
Came off her fabulous second DVD!
Treat yourself and get her dvd's!

Vinyl on a Cookie Jar

Well.. this picture will not rotate correctly for me at all!
We thought the jar needed a little dressing up.

Val and I worked together and came up with this.. She had some ribbon and she cut up a christmas bag and stuck it in so we could photograph it better.

Vinyl Angel

Wow!
This was a piece of work! I found that indoor vinyl is a bit more flimsy than outdoor vinyl. I've never made a project this big using vinyl. It was a bit more intricate than I expected and thank goodness my sister came over to help me. Also learned... I should have put this on GLASS or some other SMOOTH surface. MY DOOR IS PITTED... not smooth!!!!!!!!!!!! argh!!! Whew. I used the cartridge Christmas. I love my Gypsy. I used layer one for the angel and layer two I used Car Decals to print out I heart my cricut. I got the most out of my vinyl!

I was inspired thanks to JOY over at http://joyslife.com/ .
I also credit her super duper DVD available here:

This is how it turned out :
whew! It did turn out rather well. Glad I tried it.

Now if I can entice my sister back over  I MIGHT consider.. flipping the image and putting this up on the other side of the peep hole...at least now we know what we are in for!
Thank you Joy!

With my final project I went STICKLE CRAZY! Oh yeah!  I decided to do a different color scheme and to do a layout. I used a picture I took during one of our rare snow days here in Hot Springs, Arkansas. This picture is from 2 years ago. This was in my neighbors' yard and she had all these beautiful decorations and some were covered in snow.
I used my Imagine to make the background paper and actually ALL THE Paper products... were from the cartridge SNOW ANGEL. I love this cart! I used the Christmas Red, Lime Green, Crystal of STICKLES now in two areas I tried Waterfall on the "&" symbol but ended up getting it on me.. and I tried Icicle but something in the glitter didn't sit right so  I switched to Crystal and then it shined right.. I put it on the snow that was on the letters. I tried to leave some of them a little bare so you could see what it really looked like.
Thank you Christie Beatie! She had Zip Dry and guess what.. told me that HOBBY LOBBY sells it. So then  I went to HL AND... they honored the coupon from my phone! I got the last bottle yippeeee.  I also used my Glue Glider Pro. I used My Irock on one of the ornaments, then on another ornament a Twinkle Brad from CTMH , and on the last ornament a Gemstone Brad from Recollections. I also learned I could used my Irock and bling up the plain white snowflake brads that are on the two upper corners of the picture.
Warning!!!! Took several shots because the lighting was giving me troubles.
So here goes:

Using regular lighting on a chair kind of bland

Twinkle Brad from CTMH

Recollections - Gemstone Brad

Used Irock Bling

Stickles-Christmas Red, Lime Green, Crystal

Used Irock on top of the brad cool huh!

Used Auto Correct for brightness a little better

The picture.. seemed melancholy or peaceful..

Thank you for looking and leaving comments and following.
This has been a fun hop! Definitely got me in the mood for Christmas!

In todays card I used the other Snowman in the PKS stamp duo set with Cottage Cutz. This fellow is wearing his fancy top hat and has his eyes open!  I used a basic shape that was on my Cricut Image for the foil paper. I used the same paper as yesterday.  I don't own a sewing machine so my stitching is really just a gelly roll pen. I've seen other folks use this trick. Pretty cool and a lot easier on my fingers and budget. LOL I used some gold and red stickles and some stamps from Michaels.. yes those studio G ones.. I needed vertical stamps for the sides. The flower is from Making Memories.. something I picked up on clearance at some point.  Thank you for looking. Hope you enjoy it.

What a November!

Bear with me. Life sure does throw some curveballs.. not only did I get "laid off" after 8 years... yesterday my dear dear close friend I found died Wednesday night. I found out yesterday, Thursday night.
I met her 2 years ago Dec... having boyfriend problems.. She instructed Zumba. I fell in love with Zumba. I actually found an exercise that I LOVED. She was so full of life and positive to everyone. She had so much faith.. without a cent in her pocket she made things happen. She had so much wisdom and peace. She was generous and I loved hanging out with her outside of class.  I did print out her pics today and put them in a new collage of picture frames that my brother bought for me at the Walmart black friday sales. I might post a pic later. She had a familiar saying .. and I think I found what I will use my printable vinyl for. She used to say " I lift you up in light and love.". I've got an empty spot on my wall so I plan to print her word and frame them around her pictures.  Maybe this will inspire me to keep creating. I want to honor her memory.

I'll be attending her funeral tomorrow.
She left behind 3 children.

Ginger Adair my dear friend!

I didn't have a clue my year would end like this.
Maybe things will start picking up next month! One can hope.

Thanks for hanging in there.
Happy Scrappn.

Smiley Cards Mini-Blog Hop

Crazy about Cricut had an idea late last night about doing a mini blog hop this morning, with cuts from the new Gypsy download....(you have till tomorrow to register your gypsy for this exclusive download!)
This is a quick card from Smiley Cards. Now this was truly last minute so bear with me.
I used stamps from Pink By Design from Take the Cake set.

I thought I was doing Blackletter one of the other free downloads so I'll show the little embellishments I made with them as well.  I am also happy to say it was the first time using my Gypsy with the Imagine. The Imagine cuts way better for me than my E. Hooray!! My first hop too. Lots of firsts today!!

I cut out a blue M and popdotted it to the M inside that  I welded.

I loved this symbol and welded it to a frame. You could open it up and there is a pic.

Putting the shield inside the frame used my Bic Markit markers

The Mini Blog Hop goes as follows:

Happy Scrappn!!

July this year.. My first entry ever into anyone's challenge.....

Thank you Emma.
This is the challenge I entered.  I am including her link and my entry.

This was fun! I love the bright colors! I used the Happy birthday Cuttlebug folders.. and used a little chalking on them. I used my Celebrations cartridge and I used the Irock as well.
I had fun. I also love blog hops as well.

August 15th I entered again in one of Emma's Challenges how fun!

I love Emma's Throwback Thursdays!

Over at My Creative Time -- http://www.creativetimeforme.com/ --
Emma is back and doing her Throwback Thursday challenge a day early this time.
The challenge was to use the Paisley Cartridge (or any other older one) to create a Back to School Project of your choice.

I was excited to try again. I couldn't wait to use one of my embossing folders from the Asian bundle. Yes I redeemed my cricut rewards and got the bundle for free. whew hew. I also couldn't wait to bust open the box of CottageCutz dies with Peachy Keen Stamps! This was gonna be my first experience with box these products. Way cool. I chose Happy Lil Frog and I used a little Copic yellow marker on the crown AND I used my way cool IROCK to adorn his crown. Those rocks were the perfect size. I'm happy to say my LSS is carrying IRock however they haven't gotten in any of the stencil stuff. No worries there because OH MY CRAFTS has met my IROCK needs!

I'll attach the two pics of my work for the challenge. I was happy to participate. I am eagerly awaiting Ms. Emma's DVD which should be arriving by the end of the month! whew hew.

That's it for now.
Enjoy.
and HappyScrappn!

Back in August of this year...

I entered my first Peachy Keen Challenge. It was Challenge 35, Color Combo Sketch Challenge.
I have fun using my Asian Cuttlebug Folders.
I stickled the butterflies and used a stamping embossing type tip for the background. I love my lady.

The Birthday Card I did for my Niece

My niece Lynsday's birthday was Sept 24th, turning 2, and I made a little card for her.

I was able to attend her birthday party and here's a pic of her and the card I made.

I love my Peachy Keen Stamps.. I also used my new Pink by Design stamps. The title set of stamps is Simply Everything from the Pink by Design. It worked perfectly. I played with my Copic markers to color the little guy. I did used stickles on the birds's legs.. and I used my Sakura gelly roll on the scalloped edges. Oh yeah and I used my Cuttlebug folders.. the Happy Birthday and my new folder set Measure by Measure.. the stars were for the border. I used my Cricut Cartridge Just Because.
We had a good time at her party.

My First EVER IRON ON T-SHIRTS using the Imagine!

I've seen so many cute shirts out there. I thought I'll give it a shot! I am showing the item I bought at Michaels and the 2 shirts I made for my nephew Kai. He was born on Halloween. He will be 3.  I'm waiting for JT and the Carnival carts to arrive so in the meantime I am playing with what I got. The first shirt I used Imagine More. The second shirt I plugged in Life is a Beach and flood filled from Imagine More. Today Michaels has that coupon for items that are onsale so  I might get some more shirts cuz I think my niece needs some shirts as well. I had problems with this FUSE sticking to the mat. The second shirt I had to hit stop and manually cut out all the elements. Hmm wonder how I can get it to stick better hmm.
Using Imagine More

Bought at my local Michaels

Life is a Beach Cart Flood filled from Imagine More
That's all for now. I hope the colors show. I did take the pics outside.

Some Images of Cuts

Here are some Images of things I cut out using the layer feature on the Imagine when I first got it.
